Ecosessions : sustainable wardrobe
ETHIK & FEM Internationa present : EcoSessions - Sustainable wardrobe
APRIL 30 ● 6:00-8:00 PM ● 6750 ESPLANADE AVENUE, OFFICE 102
Zero Waste: How to adapt your wardrobe?
As you may know, the fashion industry keeps on producing more clothes in an increasingly rapid way. The current average production flow of many companies is around one new line of clothing every week, which means 52 seasons a year. Did you now that:
- Around 80 billion items of clothing are delivered out of factories worldwide annually;
- The amount of water required for making one t-shirt is equivalent to the amount one person would drink over 3 years.
- The amount of water required to make one pair of jeans equals 285 showers.
Our panelists for this EcoSessions will tell us about their story and will also give some tips on how to better manage our wardrobe and decrease our environmental footprint.
As Earth Day (April 22nd) and Fashion Revolution Day (April 24th) are coming up, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to discuss with our panelists ways to implement more sustainable consumption habits.
